A host integration decides whether context delivery, handoff, compaction, and completion happen automatically or through an explicit command.

A projection can exist in source without being certified in its real host. The labels keep that difference explicit.

A generated hook adapter covers Session start, prompts, edits, pre-compaction, and stop checks. Real Claude Code verification is planned, so the first release does not claim certified host behavior.

Change agents without changing the project truth.

Start with the certified Codex integration. In another host, use only the projection or manual workflow described here until real-host verification is complete.
